Restorative dentistry falls into a lot of different categories. For young people these days, it's probably nothing more than just a few fillings on the biting surfaces of their teeth. Almost every child or young adult has some biting surface type grooves and pits that need fillings. That's restorative on a small level. Older patients who have more wear and tear on their teeth, and especially more senior patients who had a lot of old silver fillings and so forth, have much more need for restorative dentistry.

Restorative dentistry is fillings. It can be crowns. It can be even dentures and so forth. We don't see as many dentures anymore, a lot of people now are keeping their teeth. Implants are also a part of restorative dentistry, too. Fillings, crowns, veneers, implants, all of these comprise restorative dentistry, all of which we do here in our office.

There are many ways that you can restore your smile at Fox Family Dentistry. We offer a wide range of services that will turn your smile from damaged and embarrassing to functional, bright, and confident. We can do this through a number of services that include dental crowns and bridges, onlays, dentures, dental implant restorations, dental fillings, and veneers. Drs. Fox are confident that they and our staff can improve your oral health to the point where you’ll love to look in the mirror every morning and use your brand-new, functional teeth.

Dental Crowns And Onlays In Burke, VA

Dental crowns are caps that go over damaged teeth to protect them from further damage as well as give them the functionality that they were lacking when they were damaged. All crowns that we do at Fox Family Dentistry are made from porcelain, and they will match the color of your natural teeth perfectly. They also guard against stains from certain foods and drinks. We also perform onlays for teeth that don’t need a full crown. Our onlays are also made of porcelain and will restore your teeth back to their original functional self.

Dental Bridges

If you are missing only one or a few teeth and do not need all of your teeth replaced by dentures, we offer partial dentures in the form of bridges. We can place bridges that will be held in place by natural teeth, implants, or crowns. We want to improve your smile with dental bridges!

Full Dentures

For those of you who need all of your teeth replaced to create a brand-new smile, a full set of dentures is more than likely what you’ll have done if you choose a route other than dental implants with crowns. We offer removable dentures, implant-retained dentures, and implant-supported dentures. Any of our denture options will do a fine job replacing your missing teeth!

Implant Restorations

We can restore your dental implants that our partner periodontist or another specialist has placed for you. Dr. Lawrence or Dr. Erik will finish off your implant process by placing a crown, bridge, or dentures on top of the replacement roots.

Filling Your Cavities

One of the most common dental problems is cavities. When you have a cavity, we will fill your cavity with a tooth-colored filling that will ensure your tooth is protected and functional. Let us fix your cavities to give you supreme confidence in your oral health!

Veneers

If you have teeth that are embarrassing for a number of reasons, including being discolored, broken, chipped, or decayed, dental veneers can improve your smile to the point where you’ll get a boost in confidence. We will have beautiful porcelain veneers casted to match the size, color, and shape of your natural teeth to ensure that nobody will be able to tell you have veneers! You’ll love your new smile that is crafted at Fox Family Dentistry!
