Meet the Burke Team

Dr. Lawrence T. Fox is a highly skilled dentist who can perform the dental procedures you need to give you the smile you’ve always dreamed about. Dr. Fox is an elite dentist in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, general dentistry, restorative dentistry, and laser dentistry. He and his staff at Fox Family Dentistry want to serve your family in Burke, VA, and the surrounding areas of Annandale, Springfield, and Fairfax for years to come!

Dr. Fox is a native of Los Angeles, California, and received his undergraduate degree in biology from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. After graduating from BYU, he served three years as a Marine Corps officer at Cherry Point, North Carolina. From there he attended dental school at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where he graduated in 1981. After a four-year stint as a Naval Dental Officer, Dr. Fox set up shop in 1985 here in Burke, VA, where he’s remained ever since.

Dr. Fox wholeheartedly believes in maintaining active memberships in numerous professional organizations. He is involved in organizations such as the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the District of Columbia Dental Society, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Northern Virginia Implant Study Club, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the Seattle Study Club, and the World Clinical Laser Institute. All of these things that Dr. Fox lends his time to is to make your experience at Fox Family Dentistry more pleasurable.

Dr. Fox is also a family man who has raised his children in the Burke, VA, community. He and his wife, Cheri, have five children, Larry, Brett, Laura, Jennifer, and Erik, and they are grandparents to 14 grandchildren. The Fox family loves their community, and that is why they have been active in local sports, school, and church functions. For years, Dr. Fox has spent part of his free time coaching and managing youth basketball and baseball teams, which he has been doing since 1985!

All of the above-mentioned things make Dr. Fox more than qualified to be your family’s dentist. He loves his family and his profession, and it shows in the dedication that he displays in both. Though he is not a native of Burke, VA, he certainly feels like it is home to him after living here for over 30 years and raising his family in Burke’s wonderful community. Stacey has been working with Dr. Lawrence Fox for the past 16 years. She is originally from California where she received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree and her Dental Hygiene Degree. Not only does Stacey provide the best oral healthcare for her patients, but she also makes all patients feel comfortable and at ease while they are in her care. Stacey is married with three beautiful children. Aside from being a busy and happy mom, Stacey loves to travel, shop, run marathons and have FUN!

Stephanie joined Dr. Fox's practice in May of 2004 with more than 20 years of experience in dentistry. She cannot imagine working in any other field. She trained at the prestigious Pankey Dental Institute and has extensive experience as a co-therapist in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.

When she's not having fun at the office, Stephanie enjoys quality time with Terry, her husband of 17 years, and their two wonderful sons, Hunter (14) and Trevor (13). She also finds time to volunteer at her son's school and keeps busy by driving the boys to and from their ice hockey and lacrosse practices.

Jamila came to the United States from Afghanistan when she was 13 years old. She finished high school and college here in the United States. Her focus in college was pre-med, and she wanted to become a medical doctor just like her father. Instead, she married her lovely husband and had two beautiful children. Her daughter finished college and got married to a wonderful man. Her son is going to be a freshman at George Mason University this coming Fall. She joined Fox Family Dentistry last year and has been working in the dental industry for over 15 years. She enjoys working in the dental field and helping each patient in a highly respectful and friendly manner.

Britany has worked in the dental field for 8 years as a front desk and financial coordinator. She enjoys helping our patients understand the financial aspect of their treatment and dental insurance. She says her favorite thing about her position is, “interacting with our patients and ensuring their dental needs are met.” When she isn’t working, she loves spending time with her daughter, traveling, and doing fun activities.
